VP1 and VP2 are highly enriched in the nucleus, while non-assembled VP3 is evenly distributed in the nucleus and the cytoplasm.
Epitope mapping experiments (Wo- bus et al., see below) identified aa726 to aa733 (C-terminus; common to all 3 VP proteins) as the specific binding region.
The antibody is also useful for characterization of different stages of infection.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry: frozen and paraffin.
For paraffin sections microwave treatment with 100mM Tris, pH 9.5, 5% urea buffer; 10 min at 120℃ recommendedWestern Blot: 1:10-1:50Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
