The inflammasome is a multiprotein complex that mediates the activation of caspase-1, which promotes, amongst others, the secretion of the proinflammatory cytokines interleukin (IL)-1beta and IL-18.
Members of the Nod-like receptor family, including NLRP3/NALP3, are critical components of the inflammasome that link danger-signals to caspase-1 activation.
Defects in NLRP3 are the cause of familial cold autoinflammatory syndrome type 1 (FCAS1), Muckle-Wells syndrome (MWS) and of chronic infantile neurologic cutaneous and articular syndrome (CINCA).
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and ChIP.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:Store product at 4℃ if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable at -20℃ for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
