Tyrosine phosphorylation plays a key role in cellular signaling (1).
Research studies have shown that in cancer, unregulated tyrosine kinase activity can drive malignancy and tumor formation by generating inappropriate proliferation and survival signals (2).
Antibodies specific for phospho-tyrosine (3,4) have been invaluable reagents in these studies.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:1000Immunoprecipitation: 1:100Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:1600-1:6400Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
