The Hepatitis B virus is one of the most important causative agents of acute and chronic liver disease in humans.
HBcAg is a particulate antigen composed of a single polypeptide (p21).
It is the replicative form of the virus, and is expressed in the infected cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunoperoxidase staining of infected liver tissues and HBV-transfected hepatoma cells and Immunoelectron microscopy.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:ELISA 1:10,000Western Blot: 1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
