Siplizumab has been shown to cause depletion of T-cells.It is therefore considered to be an immunomodulator in clinical settings where the depletion of T-cells may have clinical benefits such as certain autoimmune diseases and T-cell cancers.
In addition, preclinical studies have also suggested that siplizumab, by binding to the CD2 receptor, may selectively produce cell death and reduce cancerous cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and SDS-PAGE.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
