Gevokizumab has been used in trials studying the treatment of acne vulgaris, osteoarthritis, Behcet's uveitis, pyoderma cangrenosum and Behcet's disease uveitis among others.
Gevokizumab acts as a modulator of cytokine imbalance in IL-1 mediated disease states.
It has a very high binding affinity of 300fM and blocks the activation of IL-1 receptors.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and SDS-PAGE.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
