VEGF (Vascular endothelial growth factor) is a potent polypeptide regulator of blood vessel function.
VEGF promotes an array of responses in the endothelium, including hyperpermeability, endothelial cell growth, angiogenesis, and enhanced glucose transport.
Several alternate splice isoforms of VEGF are known.
Two high-affinity receptors for VEGF, VEGFR1 and VEGFR2, have been identified and characterized.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
