Stats (Signal transducers and activators of transcription) are a family of cytoplasmic latent transcription factors that are activated to regulate gene expression in response to a large number of extracellular signaling polypeptides including cytokines, interferons, and growth factors.
After phosphorylation by JAK tyrosine kinases, Stats enter the nucleus to regulate transcription of many different genes.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot (ECL): 1ug/ml, detects a band of ~88kDOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
