特徴
- Smac/DIABLO is one of the pro-apoptotic proteins normally found in the intermembrane space of the mitochondria.
- In response to apoptotic stimuli, Smac/DIABLO is released into the cytosol resulting in permeabilization of the mitochondrial membrane.
- Cytosolic Smac/DIABLO activates caspase-9 by binding IAP proteins.
- Changes in the expression level of Smac/DIABLO have been demonstrated in a number of human cancers including melanoma, ovary, and prostate.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot (ECL): 1ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (paraffin): 10ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20℃.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
