• MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
• Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000.
• Herpes Simplex virus (HSV) is a double stranded DNA virus of which there are 2 types, HSV1 and HSV2.
• HSV1 usually establishes latency in the trigeminal ganglion, a collection of nerve cells near the ear.
• From there, it tends to recur on the lower lip or face causing cold sores.
• HSV2 usually resides in the sacral ganglion at the base of the spine.
• From there, it recurs in the genital area.
• Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Optimal dilution to be determined by researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4℃ in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4℃ for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
