Cyclins are regulatory subunits of the cyclin-dependent kinases (cdk), which control transition at different specific phases of the cell cycle.
In mammalian cells, cyclin D2 plays a critical role in G1 to S transition and is a putative proto-oncogene.
Cyclin D2 can phosphorylate pRB when associated with cdk4 and/or cdk6.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:Bristol 8 lymphoblastoid human cell line.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
