Immunoglobulin classes share the same basic four polypeptide chain structure of two heavy chains (five heavy chains types) and two light chains (kappa, lambda; both having a molecular weight of 22.5kDa).
Kappa and lambda consist of a variable region and a constant region and can easily be differentiated by the antigenic properties of the constant region.
The ratio of kappa to lambda is 70:30.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Flow Cytometry: 1-5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
