• Estrogen Receptor alpha is a 65 kDa protein and a member of the steroid family of nuclear receptors.
• Estrogen Receptor alpha is a ligand-activated transcription factor that, when bound to estrogen, induces a conformational change that allows dimerization and binding to estrogen response element sequences.
• When bound to DNA, Estrogen Receptor alpha can positively or negatively regulate gene transcription.
• Like other steroid hormone receptors, Estrogen Receptors are intracellular proteins.
• Estrogen Receptors play an important role in regulating mammary gland growth and differentiation.
• Breast tumors that are ER positive may also show a more favorable response to anti-estrogen therapies.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ImmunocytochemistryImmunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.

• Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry (Frozen/paraffin): 1:10-1:500Immunocytochemistry (IF): 10ug/mlWestern Blot: 1ug/ml.
• 50ug bovine liver was analyzed.
• Blocking was in 5% milk in PBST for 1 hour.
• E3565-09T diluted to 1ug/ml was incubated with blocking buffer for 1 hour RT.
• Three x 8 minute washes were performed, then secondary antibody added, repeat washes, then ECL reagents used.
• Film exposure determined positive signal
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4℃ for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20℃.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
