CXCR4, also termed Fusin, LESTR, or HUMSTR is a member of the G-protein-coupled chemokine receptor family with seven membrane-spanning domains and functions as a coreceptor for X4 HIV-1 entry into CD4+ cells.
CXCR4 is expressed predominantly on naïve T cell subset of peripheral blood and is rapidly upregulated by PHA and IL-2 stimulation.
It is also expressed on neutrophils, monocytes and various cell lines.
Applications:Suitable for use in Blocking/Neutralization, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Neutralization: Measured by its ability to neutralize CXCL12/SDF‑1 alpha -induced chemotaxis in the BaF3 mouse pro‑B cell line transfected with human CXCR4.
The Neutralization Dose (ND50) is typically 2.5-12ug/mL in the presence of 1 ng/mL Recombinant Human/Feline/Rhesus Macaque CXCL12/SDF‑1 alpha
Flow Cytometry: 0.25ug/10e6 cellsImmunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 8-25ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20℃.
Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20℃.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
