CellMosaic's maleimide activated chicken egg albumin （ovalbumin） HL is designed for direct conjugation of ovalbumin with proteins, peptides, or other ligands containing free sulfhydryl groups for use in immunization.
This product consists of a highly loaded ovalbumin that has been modified with EMCS （N-（Ɛ-maleimidocaproyloxy） succinimide ester） to attach 5−15 maleimide groups per ovalbumin molecule.This product replaces previously developed maleimide activated Ova HL （Part No： CM52105） and incorporates a slightly longer linker that is more suitable for immunization.
The new product is also more stable for labeling reactions.
