CellMosaic's maleimide activated bovine serum albumin （also known as BSA or "Fraction V"） HL is designed for direct conjugation of BSA with proteins, peptides, or other ligands containing free sulfhydryl groups for use in immunization.
This product consists of a highly loaded BSA that has been modified with EMCS （N-（Ɛ-maleimidocaproyloxy） succinimide ester） to attach 20-30 maleimide groups per BSA molecule.
This product replaces previously developed maleimide activated BSA HL （Part No： CM52103） and incorporates a slightly longer linker that is more suitable for immunization and this product is more stable for labeling reactions.
