特徴
- Octamer transcription factor-2 （Oct-2） is a member of the POU homeodomain family of transcription factors. It binds to the immunoglobin gene octamer motif, thereby regulating B-cell-speciec gene expression and transcription in a variety of tissues. Oct-2 is expressed highly in germinal center B-cells, mantle B-cells, monocytoid B-cells, and plasma cells, thus making Anti-Oct-2 useful for detecting various lymphomas including B-chronic lymphocytic leukemia, mantle cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, marginal zone lymphoma, plasmacytoma, Burkitt lymphoma, diffuse large cell lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, T-cell rich B-cell lymphoma, nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin's lymphoma, and classic Hodgkin's lymphoma.
