特徴
- CMTM6, belongs to the chemokine-like factor superfamily, a novel family that is similar to the chemokine and transmembrane 4 superfamilies. CMTM6 stabilizes plasma membrane expression of PD-L1 and protects PD-L1 from lysosomal degradation by preventing STUB1-mediated PD-L1 ubiquitination. Based on the studies of CMTM6 immune system regulation, it is being investigated as an immunotherapeutic target for cancer treatment.
