Jab1, also known as CSN5, is a component of (COP9) signalosome complex (CSN) and reported to be involved in the regulation of cell proliferation, cell-cycle progression, and tumorigenesis.
As a component of the COP9 signalosome complex, Jab1 could reciprocally regulate the stability and transcriptional activity of MED1 and might be a MED1 direct target gene mediating the aggressive phenotypes of HER2+tumors.
