The GLI2/CCP2 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human GLI2 gene located on chromosome band 2q14.2 along with the number of CCP2 copies per cell.
Mutations of this gene – also known as CJS, HPE9, PHS2, THP1 or THP2 – are associated with gallbladder cancer, leukemia and other types of cancers, Greig cephalopolysyndactyly syndrome, Pallister-Hall syndrome, preaxial polydactyly type IV, postaxial polydactyly types A1 and B, and other malignancies.
