The IGH-MALT1 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect rearrangements involving the human IGH and MALT1 genes located on chromosome bands 14q32.33 and 18q21.32, respectively.
Rearrangements and abnormal expression of the IGH locus – also known as IGD1, IGH@, IGHJ, IGHV, IGHD@, IGHJ@, IGHV@, IGH.1@ or IGHDY1 – and the MALT1 gene – also known as MLT, MLT1 or IMD12 – have been observed in B-cell lymphomas and other malignancies.
