The KAT6A-CREBBP Dual Fusion/Translocation FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect rearrangements involving the human KAT6A and CREBBP genes, located on chromosome bands 8p11.21 and 16p13.3, respectively.
KAT6A is also known as MOZ, MRD32, MYST3, MYST-3, ZNF220, RUNXBP2 or ZC2HC6A.
CREBBP is also known as CBP, RSTS, KAT3A or RSTS1.
Rearrangements involving portions of these two genes have been observed in various non-Ewing sarcomas, acute non-lymphocytic (AML) and monocytic leukemias, myelodysplastic syndrome and other tumor types.
