The ETV6-RUNX1 Fusion/Translocation FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect rearrangements involving the human ETV6 and RUNX1 genes located on chromosome bands 12p13.2 and 21q22.12, respectively.
Rearrangements between the two genes, the ETV6 gene – also called TEL, THC5 or TEL/ABL – and the RUNX1 gene – also known as AML1, AML1-EVI-1, AMLCR1, CBFA2, EVI-1 or PEBP2aB, have been observed in B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) and other malignancies.
