Abnormalities in B3GAT1 – also known as NK1, CD57, HNK1, LEU7, NK-1, GLCATP or GLCUATP – have been associated with Alzheimer's disease, Chronic Fatigue syndrome, and cancers such as liver cancer, prostate cancer, gastric cancer, melanoma and other malignancies.
