The DOCK8/CCP9 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human DOCK8 gene located on chromosome band 9p24.3, along with the number of chromosome 9 copies per cell.
Mutations in DOCK8 – also known as MRD2, ZIR8 or HEL-205 – result in the autosomal recessive form of the hyper-IgE syndrome and are associated with colon adenocarcinoma, lung adenocarcinoma, melanoma, breast invasive ductal carcinoma, glioblastoma and other malignancies.
