The PRKAR1B/CCP7 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human PRKAR1B gene located on chromosome band 7p22.3, along with the number of chromosome 7 copies per cell.
Mutations in PRKAR1B – also known as MASNS or PRKAR1 – are associated with low-grade glioma, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, pilocytic astrocytoma, thyroid gland papillary carcinoma and other malignancies.
