The CD274/CCP9 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human CD274 gene located on chromosome band 9p24.1, along with the number of chromosome 9 copies per cell.
Upregulation of CD274 – also known as PDL1, PDCD1LG1, PDCD1L1, PD-L1, B7H1 or B7-H – has been observed in renal cell carcinoma and in many other cancer types.
Altered expression of the gene has also been observed in intracellular infections and in autoimmune conditions.
