The TFG/CCP3 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human TFG gene located on chromosome band 3q12.2, along with the number of chromosome 3 copies per cell.
Rearrangements and abnormal expression of the TFG gene – also known as TF6, HMSNP, SPG57 or TRKT3 – have been observed in anaplastic large cell lymphoma, thyroid papillary carcinoma, extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma, renal cell carcinoma and other cancer types.
