The ZBTB16-RARA Fusion/Translocation FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect rearrangements involving the human ZBTB16 and RARA genes located on chromosome bands 11q23.3 and 17q21.2, respectively.
Rearrangements between the two genes, the ZBTB16 gene – also known as PLZF or ZNF145 – and the RARA gene – also called RAR or NR1B1, have been observed in acute promyelocytic leukemia （APL, the M3 subtype of acute myelogenous leukemia） and other malignancies.
