The KMT2A-MLLT1 Fusion/Translocation FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect rearrangements involving the human KMT2A and MLLT1 genes located on chromosome bands 11q23.3 and 19p13.3, respectively.
Rearrangements between the two genes, the KMT2A gene – also known as HRX, MLL, MLL1, TRX1, ALL-1, CXXC7, HTRX1, MLL1A, WDSTS, MLL/GAS7 or TET1-MLL – and the MLLT1 gene – also called ENL, LTG19 or YEATS1, have been observed in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and other malignancies.
