The SEC63/MYC FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human SEC63 gene located on chromosome band 6q21, and the MYC gene on chromosome band 8q24.21.
Abnormal expression of the SEC63 gene – also known as ERdj2, PCLD2, SEC63L, DNAJC23 or PRO2507 – has been observed in lymphoid malignancies such as chronic lympocytic leukemia （CLL） and other cancers.
Abnormalities in MYC – also known as MRTL, MYCC, c-Myc or bHLHe39 – have been observed in Burkitt's Lymphoma and other hematological malignancies, myeloma, as well as breast, cervical, colon, ovarian and other tumor types.
