The NONO-TFE3 Fusion/Translocation FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect rearrangements involving the human NONO and TFE3 genes, located on chromosome bands Xq13.1 and Xp11.23, respectively.
Rearrangements between the two genes, the NONO gene – also called NMT55, NRB54, P54, P54NRB or PPP1R114 – and the TFE3 gene – also known as TFEA, RCCP2, RCCX1 or bHLHe33, have been observed in renal cell carcinoma subtypes and other tumor malignancies.
