The C19MC/TPM4 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human C19MC microRNA cluster locus, located on chromosome band 19q13.42, and the TPM4 gene located on chromosome band 19p13.12.
The C19MC microRNA cluster locus is subject to frequent rearrangements, for example in a subset of thyroid adenomas.
Rearrangements of the TPM4 gene – also known as HEL-S-108 – can be found in some soft tissue tumors and other cancer types.
