The ERBB2/TOP2A/CCP17 FISH Probe Kit is designed to detect the human ERBB2 gene, located on chromosome band 17q12, and the TOP2A gene on chromosome band 17q21.2, along with the number of chromosome 17 copies per cell.
Abnormal expression or rearrangements of both genes （ERBB2 – also know as NEU, NGL, HER2, TKR1, CD340, HER-2, MLN 19 or HER-2/neu – and TOP2A – also known as TOP2 or TP2A） has been observed in breast carcinoma and many other solid tumor types.
