特徴

• 背景：FcRn complex consist of two subunits： IgG receptor FcRn large subunit p51（alpha chain） and Beta-2-microglobulin p14（Beta chain）. The complex is formed noncovalently and has similar structure to MHC class I-like heterodimer. FcRn binds to the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulins gamma, mediates the uptake of IgG from milk. FcRn complex may involve in transfer of immunoglobulin G from mother to fetus. Beta-2-microglobulin plays a role in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system.
