• 背景：SERPINI2 is a secreted protein that belongs to the serpin family. Serpins are the largest and most diverse family of serine protease inhibitors which participated a number of fundamental biological processes such as blood coagulation, complement activation, fibrinolysis, angiogenesis, inflammation and tumor suppression and are expressed in a cell-specific manner. SERPINI2 is expressed in pancreas and adipose tissues. Mutations of human SERPINI2 can lead to conditions such as acinar cell apoptosis and malabsorption.
