• TheSparkFunQwiicBMP581PressureSensorisastandard-sized,1in.by1in.absolutepressuresensorbreakoutfromBoschSensortec.TheBMP581boastsexceptionalresolution（downto1/64Pa）andaccuracywhilemaintainingon-chiplinearizationandtemperaturecompensationtoprovidetrueabsolutedataforpressureandtemperature.TheQwiicPressureSensorcommunicatesoverI2Cbydefault,utilizingourhandyQwiicConnectSystemsonosolderingisrequiredtoconnectittotherestofyourboards.However,westillroutedtheI2Csignalsouttoasetof0.1"-spacedpinsforuserswhopreferasolderedconnection.YoucanalsoconfiguretheboardtocommunicateoverSPIusingthesame0.1"-spacedpins.
• TheBMP581hasawidepressuresensingrange（30to125kPa）withexcellentaccuracyacrossthesensingrange（±0.5hPa（max））,aswellasoutputdataratesupto622Hz（wehaveonlyregularlyachieved500Hzintesting,though）.Thesensorincludesaconfigurableoversamplingsetting,FIFObufferforstoringupto32pressuresamples,programmablelow-passfilteringandeven6-bytesofuser-programmablenon-volatilememory.Allofthisallowsyoutocustomizetheperformancebasedonyourapplication'srequirements.Evenwithoutfiltering,theBMP581hasverylownoise（＜0.1PaRMS）.
• Thesensorhasfiveoperatingmodes：Normal,Forced,Continuous,Standby,andDeepStandby.DeepStandbyconsumestheleastamountofcurrentatjust1.5μA（typical）andpeakcurrentconsumptionbythesensoris260μA.
• TheSparkFunQwiicConnectSystemisanecosystemofI2Csensors,actuators,shieldsandcablesthatmakeprototypingfasterandlesspronetoerror.AllQwiic-enabledboardsuseacommon1mmpitch,4-pinJSTconnector.ThisreducestheamountofrequiredPCBspace,andpolarizedconnectionsmeanyoucan'thookitupwrong.
